Race registration and race number pickup will be held from 1pm to 5pm at race headquarters at Hansen Park on 19 October 2024
All competitors must pickup their race number and collect their merchandise at this time except for the Hansen Park Dash entrants.
Course race maps will also be displayed here and the race director and volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions you have. For details on each event please see the individual event pages.

Registration Day at Hansen Park, Christchurch 1:00-5:00pm – collect your bib, merchandise, final information and have your compulsory kit checked off.  
Closing date for entries to the Kiwi Challenge 22km, Rapaki Rumble 12km & Valley View 6km

Refund Policy

The following refund policy applies to ALL 2024 Crater Rim Ultra Trail Races, please read carefully: 
  • Before 30 June of the current year - 75% entry fee refunded
  • Before 31 August of the current year - 50% entry fee refunded
  • Before 30 September of the current year - 25% entry fee refunded
  • After 30 September of the current year No refunds
  • No refunds given if the event is cancelled for reasons outside of event organisers control (i.e. - extreme weather event)

Transfer Policy

  • Runners can transfer their entry to another event before the 16th October
  • Runners can transfer their entry to another runner before the 16th October
  • No refund from Crater Rim Ultra Events if the distance is shorter  
  • Transfer is subject to remaining entries being available in the selected event
  • NO TRANSFERS will be carried over to the following year's event or beyond

Waste

The Banks Peninsula and Crater Rim Trails are some of the most beautiful places on earth and we want them to stay this way. Competitors must carry a reusable cup for drinks, available as part of our merchandise. Please dispose of any waste in the rubbish bags provided at aid stations throughout the race and at the start and finish area. Should any runner be caught littering on any trail areas they will be disqualified. Likewise should a support crew member be caught littering – they will be reported and their runner will also be disqualified.
